FAMILY SERVICES RECREATION offers families a broad array of services to assist them in dealing with the challenges of raising a child with special needs or supporting an adult with developmental disabilities. Our services include after-school, after-work and recreational programming.

Our clients, their families and their caregivers come to us to realize their dreams for full, healthy lives. This is what drives our curriculum.

Family Services offers an environment in which children, adults and families are assisted in reaching their full potential. The involvement of families, teachers and therapists - through information sharing, goal setting and ongoing communication - is an integral part of our program.

Services include:

  • Minutekids Afterschool offers individualized support to children between the ages of 7 and 21 in an inclusive group setting where they can have fun and build skills at the same time. Activities include: art, music therapy, dance, expressive therapy, sensory and motor activities, bowling, integrated sports and cooking.
  • Adult Afterwork is a social and recreational program for individuals age 18 and over that focuses on social interaction, recreation and community integration. Activities include: arts & crafts, dance, yoga, cooking, bowling and chorus.
  • School Vacation Recreation provides children between the ages of 7 and 21 with opportunities for community integration, socialization, recreation and skill retention when school is not in session.
