Adult Afterwork Recreation Program

Mondays: Bowling: 3:00-5:30pm
Sept 12th – Nov 28th: 11 week session: $165
Bowlers will meet Group Leader, Kathy Kristoff, in the Baker kitchen and leave at approximately 3pm for the Acton Bowladrome. Fees include shoe rental and two bowling games.

Tuesdays: Dabblers Arts & Crafts: 3:00-4:15pm
Sept 13th – Nov 29th: 12 week session: $180
Artistic individuals meet Group Leader, Kathy Kristoff, in the Baker kitchen and leave at approximately *2:45pm* for Dabblers, an art studio & craft workshop located in West Concord. Dabblers Instructor, Barbara Bromley, will lead the group in exploring new mediums and craft projects; examples include using watercolor, mosaic tiles, and clay jewelry (materials fee included).

Tuesdays: Body Bootcamp: 4:30-5:45pm
Sept 13th – Nov 29th: 12 week session: $180
Participants will meet Fitness Instructor, Scott Cassa, in the gym for a fun & focused exercise group which uses simple exercises, free weights, and medicine balls to develop a healthier stronger self. Please wear sneakers & comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water & inhaler (as needed).

Wednesdays: Zumba: 3:00-4:15pm
Sept 14th – Nov 30th: 12 week session: $180
Feel great and get fit by dancing! Participants will meet Instructor, Terry Myers Coney, in the gym for an aerobic-dance party where you’ll sweat up a storm to the exciting rhythms of salsa & merengue! Please wear sneakers & comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water & inhaler (as needed).

Wednesdays: Music Therapy: 4:30-5:45pm
Sept 14th – Nov 30th: 12 week session: $180
Express your musical talents, explore different instruments, and sing together with Oren Rosenthal – an experienced Music Therapist who loves to inspire group members to play the auto harp and beat the drum to their own rhythm!

Thursdays: Yoga: 3:00-4:15pm
Sept 15th – Dec 1st: 11 week session: $165
Relieve stress, build strength, and cultivate “your inner calm” with Yoga Instructors, Nora Basile & Tonya Salerno. Instructor, Nora Basile, will lead class for the months of September & October. Instructor Tonya Salerno, will resume leading class on November 3rd.

Thursdays: Ceramics: 4:30-5:45pm
Sept 15th – Dec 1st: 11 week session: $165
Students join Instructor, Diane Sweet, to let loose their creativity and learn about the process by designing and decorating pottery pieces to give as gifts or take home and admire.

Fridays: Chorus: 3:00-4:15pm
Sept 16th – Dec 2nd: 11 week session: $165
Enthusiastic vocalists are led by Choral Director, Marsha Martin, in singing a variety of seasonal tunes which are showcased at our annual holiday performance. Performance will occur mid-December, details to be discussed.

Fridays: Trivia: 4:30-5:45pm
Sept 16th – Dec 2nd: 11 week session: $165
Relax and enjoy the company of others while practicing social skills and having fun! Participants will meet Group Leader, Kathy Kristoff, in the Blue Classroom to play a variety of new trivia games such as Scene-It, 20 Questions, Quizmo, and Wit’s End.
