Flexible Family Support Funding
Flexible Family Support Funding is available through Minute Man Arc in collaboration with the Department of Mental Retardation (DMR). Families of children who register with DMR and qualify for Flexible Family Support are able to receive a yearly stipend to help them cover the high cost of specialized equipment, respite care and a variety of other specific needs that are related to their child's disability.
Eligibility for this program is relatively broad. Once a family has been notified that they have funding, Minute Man's Director of Family Services can assist them in assessing what goods and services can be covered and getting reimbursed quickly.
